Water! Part 1

Bought new materials for the water tower. Got friends and family to donate some cash towards this project. Took us 8 hours to visit 3 shops. I don't know if its just that my eyes have more time to take in the scenery or the water but I swear the colours here seem brighter and stronger than back home. Car paint powering through rust, dust and dirt, the bright red earth, even the rundown shops all seem to have a freash coat of pain on. Maybe its the Malaria drugs kicking in.

Current water supply
Working for the weekendSketchy Service. Sketchy Prices!
Mina
This tower will be able to hold 2300 Liters of water. This should provide about 30L per kid per day. Thats way more than they presently use . The storage provides a continual supply of water when the well doesn't perform.
Hot Chip
The kids don't react to all the steel coming in but as soon as they see the dirty cracked second hand sink I bought they go balistic!
I'm going full luxury here with a shower head.
Welding the steel beams
The tower is taking shape.
Hot day
A working guitar in Kenya....unheard of!
Guitar licks.
Taking lessons from the pros.
This one cracks up every time I look at her. Caught her not smiling.

More welding

Freshly painted tower gets hoisted up. Five adults and 15 kids on hopes
Concrete pouring time.

Nice to see our cash being used wisely! Thanks for helping them out with all this, I'm sure they will appreciate this greatly today and for generations! :)
